The Motherland, my native habitat and land I love. Not many vegan options in rural areas- yet! A very favorite place for me is Zion, and the town of Springdale is a great oasis for good food. We stop in Las Vegas and stock up on all of our grocery needs then hit the road north-east into red rock country. Pack your cooler so you don't have to pay tourist prices later for basics.

A place I can't recommend enough is Baagan, with wonderful people and an award winning menu. They feature Ayurvedic options and indigenous ingredients, GMO-Free Baagan uses different spices to flavor food for therapeutic reasons. They also focus on eco-friendly and sustainable practices with a food truck that's a blessing for anyone seeking vegan options in the SF Bay Area.

This place is easy to spot, it has epic murals painted on the fabulously transformed gas station. This is also a great spot to get Polygamy Porter gear.
